Three Friends (1958)

In the skeletal remains of a forgotten building, three men forge a fragile existence, their lives interwoven by necessity. An unexpected encounter with a solitary blind girl disrupts their precarious equilibrium. Drawn to her vulnerability, they offer her sanctuary, weaving a delicate fiction of wealth and comfort. When the promise of restoring her sight emerges, quantified at 800 lira, one man is irrevocably changed.
