A new adaptation of the South Korean movie "Dark Places", "The Uninvited - The Uninvited" chronicles a deadly battle of wills between two sisters and their stepmother... the will to come as they attempt to tear through the veil of mystery surrounding his death. While Anna is at the clinic, her father, Stephen (David Strathairn), is engaged to her mother's former nurse, Rachel (Elizabeth Banks). Anna's despair turns to fear when her mother's ghost appears and demands revenge. The ghost of her mother portrays Rachel as the murderer. Thus, Anna and her sister Alex (Arielle Kebbel) begin investigating Rachel's controversial past.
