The Sovereign's Servant (2007)

Europe, 1709: the continent is ablaze with the Russo-Swedish War. From the opulent court of Louis XIV, two French duelists find themselves exiled, pawns in a much grander game. One is thrust into the service of Czar Peter the Great, the other into the camp of King Charles XII. Though divided by conflicting loyalties and vast battlefields, their paths are irrevocably intertwined, their destinies bound by a force far greater than mere circumstance.
