The Protector (1985)

In the concrete jungle of New York, Detective Billy Wong witnesses his partner's brutal demise during a brazen robbery, leaving him reeling. Assigned a new partner, Danny Garoni, Wong finds himself thrust into another high-stakes case: the kidnapping of Laura Shapiro, daughter of a prominent millionaire, during a high-profile fashion show.
