Michel, a romantic idealist, yearns for a serendipitous encounter akin to his parents' and grandparents' fabled meetings. In stark contrast is Vincent, a pragmatist who champions directness in affairs of the heart, pursuing his desires with unwavering focus. These childhood friends, holding diametrically opposed philosophies on love and courtship, soon find their methods tested. Their perspectives are challenged when they cross paths with Angèle and Nathalie, forcing them to confront the limitations inherent in their established techniques, and compelling them to question everything they thought they knew about finding love.
