The movie Nanny Diaries tells the story of Annie Braddock (Johansson), a New Jersey native who is the caretaker of a wealthy family in Manhattan, where she arrives after college. Realizing that life on the other side of town isn't easy, Annie takes care of her son Greyer and tries to fulfill Mrs. X's (Linnie's) endless wishes. Annie then begins to bond with a young man she met in the building, and she faces unexpected events in the world of the rich.
