The Forge (2024)

Isaiah Wright, a 19-year-old young man, is passionate about basketball and video games. Having graduated from high school a year ago, he finds himself without a job, any concrete plans for the future, and struggling to find his identity as an adult. Constantly clashing with his single mother Cynthia, Isaiah is faced with a difficult choice - either step up and take responsibility or find a new place to live. Influenced by his friends and pressured by his mother, Isaiah lands a job at Moore Fitness, not knowing that the owner will play a significant role in shaping his journey. Through the unwavering support of his mother and the unexpected guidance of his new mentor, Isaiah is compelled to confront his past, let go of his self-centered ways, and explore the possibility of a higher purpose for his life.
