Travis and Wendell, two perpetually struggling New Yorkers, believe their fortunes are changing when they're offered a chance to open a nightclub in a quaint Nebraska town. Unbeknownst to them, they've been spirited away by a cunning KGB operative to the Soviet Union.
There, they are unwittingly cast as authorities on American culture within a clandestine town, meticulously designed as a training ground for Soviet spies.
