Sometimes not everything is as it seems, especially in the suburban town where the Carpenter family lives. Susan Carpenter, a slum single mother, works as a waitress at a restaurant with energetic family friend Sheila. His 8-year-old son, Peter, is a very playful boy. Susan's eldest son Henry, on the other hand, takes care of everyone in his own unusual way. One day, Susan learns that her next-door neighbor has a dangerous secret involving Henry's kind classmate, Christina, and that Henry has hatched a plan to help. When his rescue plan for Christina takes breathtaking paths, Christina finds herself in the middle of the plan.
