The Beguiled (1971)

As the dying embers of the Civil War flicker, a wounded Union soldier stumbles upon a secluded girls' school deep in Confederate territory. Finding sanctuary within its walls, he unwittingly ignites a powder keg of repressed desires among the sheltered young women. He becomes the unwilling object of their burgeoning sexual fantasies.

Seizing the opportunity, the soldier manipulates their infatuation for his personal gain. However, his calculated game takes a dark turn when he resists fully surrendering to their desires, trapping him in a web of escalating tension and unspoken threats. Escape becomes a desperate, and potentially impossible, endeavor.
