Summer Book (2008)

Mustafa, a driven agricultural trader, maintains a detached distance from his family. His world fractures during a business trip when a brain hemorrhage plunges him into a coma. His wife, Guler, grapples with suspicions of infidelity. Veysel, their son, yearns to abandon military school for business studies, while young Ali navigates school bullies and a challenging sales job.

Estranged brother Hasan, a solitary figure since his divorce, is drawn back into the family fold. With Mustafa incapacitated, Hasan confronts a labyrinth of secrets: a suspected mistress and a trail of missing money. He must unravel the truth to protect what remains of their fractured lives.
