Sergeant Joe Bomowski's meticulously ordered existence is upended by the arrival of his well-meaning, yet overbearing, mother. Her attempts to "improve" his life, compounded by a series of hilariously misguided gifts, lead to utter mortification. When she procures a machine gun as a birthday present, purchased from a dubious source, his professional and personal worlds collide. Surprisingly, her meddling inadvertently provides crucial assistance in solving a complex case, blurring the line between maternal interference and unexpected crime-fighting prowess.
