Three young people with very different personalities from the "British Generation X" live in the same house with journalist Alex, doctor Juliet and accountant David. Turning down many applications and seeking a fourth roommate to lower their rent, the trio choose Hugo, who stands out for his "cool" temperament. One day, the teenagers find Hugo dead from a drug overdose with a suitcase containing a large amount of money, and they take the money after burying Hugo's body. However, David, the only person who understands economics, warns his friends that one day someone will come for such a large sum. David's prediction turned out to be correct; Police and drug dealers are chasing money at the same time...
