Dewey Finn, the guitarist of the rock band No Vacancy, is an unsuccessful musician who can't pick up an ax despite his hard work. He adores the power of rock and roll. Dewey is determined to lead the rock band to victory in the Groups Compete competition, looking to perform on big stages and make long 20-minute solos. However, when his bandmates object, he finds himself in front of the door when he least expects it. Dewey, left alone with his debts accumulated like a mountain and unable to even pay his rent, calls his next-door neighbor. Ned's room. in despair. He eventually reluctantly agrees to teach at Horace Greene's elementary school. She always feels the hawkish gaze of Rosalie Mullins, the evil and conservative headmistress of the school. He is also very poor in teaching. He cannot predict what and how he will teach the fifth graders, and one day he accidentally overhears the sounds of music while passing by the room where the school orchestra is working. At this point, a bright idea comes to mind. He decided to form a high voltage rock band, lecturing these young musicians. However, he has to do this secretly from the families of the children and the headmistress.
