Rettet Raffi!
Dr. Henry Wiese, having ventured to the Afghan front lines, leaves behind his wife Helen, also a physician, who is unwilling to follow and threatens divorce. Their young son, Samuel, becomes deeply attached to Raffi, the hamster given to him by his father. After convincing a vet to perform costly surgery on Raffi, the hamster is inadvertently taken by Rocky, a recently released car thief. Meanwhile, Samuel's sister Molly and her kind boyfriend Jochen are drawn into a quest to find Raffi, who embarks on unexpected escapades, including a stint in a TV studio hamster show.
