Savages (2024)

In the lush landscapes of Borneo, young Kéria finds herself in a battle to save not only a baby orangutan but also the forest she calls home. She discovers the vulnerable creature, whom she names Oshi, amidst the sprawling palm oil plantations where her father works. When her cousin Selaï arrives, escaping the turmoil between his indigenous tribe and logging companies, the two unite. Together with Oshi, they face the encroaching threat of deforestation, embarking on a courageous fight to preserve their beloved home.
