Safety Not Guaranteed 2012
Three magazine employees stumble upon an unusual newspaper ad in Seattle. Their skepticism about journalism causes them to go after the news for these ads. They soon began to track down Kenneth, a strange and mysterious character. Kenneth, a supermarket worker prone to paranoia, claims to have solved the mystery of time travel. In fact, he is preparing to embark on a new journey very soon. The film, which is a very simple and sincere character study at its core, does not ignore the sci-fi storytelling and dramatic structure. One of the standalone surprises of the year from the producers of My Little Sun (2006), which stands out for its finely woven script and Mark Duplass' impressive performance that breaks the stereotypes of time travel movies.
