Rock the Paint (2005)

A tale of self-discovery begins as young Josh Sendler is forced to leave behind his basketball dreams in the serene cornfields of Indiana and adapt to the gritty urban courts of Newark, New Jersey. It is here that he crosses paths with the talented Antwon Jackson, a basketball prodigy, and the two form an unlikely bond as they strive to lead their high school team to victory in the state championship. However, their friendship is put to the test as they navigate the challenges of inner-city life and confront the harsh realities of racial tensions, culminating in a powerful confrontation with the use of a derogatory term that threatens to tear them apart.
