R.M.N. (2022)
A few days prior to Christmas, Matthias makes the decision to leave his job in Germany and return to his quaint Transylvanian village. His primary motivation is to become more actively involved in his son Rudi's education, as he has been left in the care of his mother Ana for an extended period of time. Matthias also carries a deep desire to help Rudi overcome the unresolved fears that have plagued him. Additionally, he longs to reconnect with Csilla, his former lover, and is concerned about the well-being of his elderly father, Otto.
However, the tranquility of the community is disrupted when Csilla, who now manages a small factory, hires a few new workers. This unforeseen development triggers a sense of unease among the villagers, unearthing their underlying fears. As a result, frustrations, conflicts, and passions simmer beneath the surface, shattering the illusion of harmony and understanding. The once apparent calm is shattered, revealing a delicate balance on the verge of collapse.
