Perejil Island (2016)

Ibrahim, a dedicated Moroccan soldier, is deployed to an isolated island along Morocco's Mediterranean coastline to keep an eye on smuggling activities and illegal immigration. His routine surveillance takes an unexpected turn when he discovers Mamadou, a Sub-Saharan survivor, stranded on the shore. As the two men, from vastly different worlds, struggle to coexist and survive on the tiny island, their presence sets off a chain of events that escalates into a major diplomatic conflict, ultimately sparking a tense military standoff in the region.
