Unfruitful Times (2024)

Nimet, a woman in her middle age, finds herself trapped in the confines of a traditional society in Istanbul following a heartbreaking miscarriage. Meanwhile, her younger sister Öznur is also grappling with her own personal battles within the family. As Nimet navigates through the expectations and limitations placed upon her, Öznur tries to come to terms with her inner demons, adding another layer of complexity to their already strained relationship. Together, they must find a way to break free from the oppressive norms surrounding them and carve out their own paths towards healing and self-discovery.
