Moon 44 (1990)

The year is 2038. Earth's resources are depleted, igniting fierce interstellar battles for dwindling deposits on distant planets and moons. A powerful mining corporation teeters on the brink, having lost all but one lunar mining operation. Their automated robots are vanishing mid-flight, a costly enigma. Desperate, they deploy expendable prisoners to defend the remaining station, among them Stone, an undercover agent tasked with uncovering the robots' fate. He finds himself caught in a web of corruption, fear, and simmering hatred, navigating the treacherous fault lines between rival factions.
