Monte Walsh (2003)
In the fading light of the Wild West, seasoned cowboys Monte Walsh and Chet Rollins navigate a changing world, masters of horsemanship facing an uncertain future. Their existence, a rhythm of cattle drives and fleeting moments in dusty towns, is disrupted when former comrade Shorty Austin descends into outlawry. Monte's affections lie with Martine Bernard, while Chet is captivated by a widowed shopkeeper. However, Austin's transgressions force Monte and Chet to confront a harsh reality: the untamed frontier they knew is vanishing, and their paths are destined for an irreversible divergence. The era of the open range is drawing to a close.
