Mold (2013)

Basri, a 55-year-old railroad watchman, spends his days trekking along endless tracks, haunted by the thought of his missing son. Eighteen years have passed since his son, a university student in Istanbul, was taken into police custody for alleged antigovernment involvement. Since that fateful day, the young man vanished without a trace, leaving Basri trapped in a relentless cycle of hope and despair. As the rhythmic clatter of trains echoes around him, Basri continues his solitary vigil, determined to uncover the truth and reunite with the son he lost so long ago.
