Se, jie - Lust Caution 2007 Movie Shanghai, 1942 The Japanese occupation during World War II continues with all its pressure. An unusual and wealthy woman named Mac walks into a cafe, calls, sits and waits. And then he starts to remember... The story begins in 1938 in China. It wasn't Mac at the time, but Wong Chia Chi (Tang Wei), a shy teenage girl. During the Second World War, his father fled to England. During his freshman year at university, he meets his classmate Kuang Yu Ming (Wang Lihom). Quang later formed a theater troupe to bring together students who were committed to patriotic principles.
