Oscar-winning screenwriter William Monahan tells the British mafia through the eyes of an American in his directorial debut. We are watching the story of Mitchell (Farrell), who has just come out of prison, by adding a new one to the fun mafia stories of the island cinema. Mitchell wants to leave her past behind and step into a new life to put her life in order. Dreaming of marrying the right woman, Mitchel turns down offers similar to his previous job. Instead, he decides to work with famous actress Charlotte to become an artist's purse carrier. While their business relationship soon turns to love, Mitchell's past is a burden that haunts him. Mitchel finally decides to fight and tells him he must win in the future to clear the past.
