The Island Bird (2022)

In a small village tucked away on Reunion Island, there lived a ten-year-old boy named Nelson who harbored a deep desire to become a singer. Eager to pursue his dream, he decided to take a leap of faith and enroll in the popular talent show, Star Kids. His closest friend, Mia, along with her mischievous little brother Zizou, took it upon themselves to seek out a coach who could help Nelson hone his skills for the upcoming competition. After much deliberation, they settled on Pierre Leroy, a renowned singer hailing all the way from Paris, currently staying at a seaside hotel where Nelson's mother worked. However, upon meeting, it became apparent that Pierre's desolate demeanor clashed with Nelson's fierce pride and determination. Despite their differences, they shared a mutual passion for music. Could this common ground be enough to bridge the gap between them and mend their wounded spirits?
