Las acacias (2011)

Rubén, a seasoned Argentinian truck driver, navigates the long haul between Paraguay and Buenos Aires, his cargo invariably timber. His routine is disrupted when, at the behest of his employer, he collects Jacinta, a young woman bound for the Argentinian capital. However, Rubén soon discovers Jacinta’s travel plans include her five-month-old daughter, Anahí. This unexpected addition to his journey forces Rubén to confront more than just the open road. The shared miles will test their resilience and forge an unlikely bond.
