Samir was a restless soul living in the outskirts of a forgotten city in France. His life was filled with boredom and a growing sense of rebellion, leading him down a dangerous path towards petty crime. However, everything changed when tragedy struck and he was forced to take on the role of breadwinner for his family after his father's sudden death.

One day, while accompanying his sister to the local library, Samir stumbled upon a surfing magazine that sparked something deep within him. Despite not knowing how to swim, he became fixated on the idea of riding the waves professionally. It seemed like an impossible dream until he crossed paths with a former bodybuilding champion turned local outcast who saw potential in him.
