Karnaval (2013)

At 36, Alis finds himself adrift, ejected from his family home and living in his car. His mother provides sustenance and job listings, a lifeline against his mounting rejections. He lands a position as a door-to-door salesman for Karnaval carpet cleaners, forging an unexpected connection with the brand itself. Karnaval becomes his unlikely companion, sharing the cramped confines of his vehicle. Amidst this unconventional existence, Alis encounters Demet, a wedding cake-maker tethered to her father's house. She dreams of escaping to Istanbul, opening a bakery, and embracing a life of her own making. Their paths intertwine, hinting at a shared desire for something more.
