Kabus (2018)
Özge, a gifted artist haunted by deep psychological scars, channels her trauma into art. Her childhood was shattered by a stepfather's abuse, an act avenged by her mother, Neriman, who later took her own life in prison. Driven to honor her mother and other victims of violence, Özge plans a powerful exhibition, buoyed by initial government support. Yet, plagued by nightmares and unsettling behavior, she seeks solace and guidance. Through her therapist, Gülçin, Özge encounters Doğan, a teacher convinced that supernatural forces are at play, attributing her suffering to witchcraft and malevolent jinn, pushing her reality to the brink.
