Detective Mike Dooley and his canine partner, Jerry Lee, a seasoned German Shepherd, have comprised a formidable LAPD duo for a decade. However, Jerry Lee's advancing years prompt Dooley's superiors to consider retirement, disrupting their established order. The pair are then compelled to collaborate with Sergeant Welles, a driven officer, and her impeccably trained Doberman, Zeus, forming an unlikely alliance.
