Iron Eagle (1986)
When Doug's father, a seasoned Air Force pilot, is downed by enemy MiGs over hostile territory, bureaucratic inertia threatens to leave him stranded. Driven by desperation, Doug unearths Chappy, a maverick Air Force Colonel captivated by an audacious plan. Chappy proposes a daring, near-impossible mission: a two-man sortie, led by himself and Doug, to penetrate enemy lines. Their objective is twofold: to obliterate the MiG base and extract Doug's father from the heart of danger. The stakes are impossibly high as they prepare to defy orders and risk everything for family and duty.
