In the Blind Spot (2023)

In a secluded village in northeastern Turkey, a group of filmmakers from Germany capture the poignant story of an elderly Kurdish woman. Through her ancient ritual, she holds onto the memory of her long-lost son, a heart-wrenching tale that transcends time and borders. Alongside the film crew is a young Kurdish woman who not only assists with translation but also looks after the enigmatic seven-year-old Melek. Melek's father is involved in a mysterious organization, shrouded in secrecy and unknown intentions. As these lives intertwine, the consequences of their fateful encounter will prove to be catastrophic.
