Idle Hands (1999)
For Anton, a perpetually hazy seventeen-year-old, life revolves around chasing the next high, zoning out in front of the television, and harboring an intense infatuation for Molly, his captivating next-door neighbor. Contentment, however, proves fleeting. Anton's seemingly harmless existence takes an unforeseen turn, forcing him to confront the age-old adage: that idleness can indeed be a breeding ground for unexpected and potentially dangerous consequences. The film explores the delicate balance between youthful apathy and the looming realities of adulthood, where inaction carries its own price.
