Home Coming (2006)
Eve Dönüş
In September 1980, Mustafa, portrayed by Mehmet Ali Alabora, and his wife, two apolitical laborers, are five years into a contented marriage. Their world, filled with the joys of their three-year-old daughter and the glow of their television, exists alongside the nightly echoes of gunfire. One Friday, Hasan Mutlucan's voice crackles over the radio, heralding marching soldiers and confirming the military coup.
Arrests sweep through workplaces and neighborhoods. Mustafa, initially unconcerned, believes in the justification of these actions, until the night he himself is apprehended, accused of crimes committed by a militant known only as "Sehmuz", leaving him trapped in a nightmare.
