Highway to Hellas (2015)
Jorg Geissner, a meticulous German banker, finds his life unexpectedly transformed when he journeys to Paladiki Island, Greece. Tasked with assessing the progress of the "Galapagos in Greece" project, funded by his bank, Jorg approaches the island with the intent to scrutinize every detail. However, Panos, a crafty mini-mart owner, and the cunning mayor conspire to obscure the truth. As Jorg grapples with thwarted investigations and islanders’ covert interference, his business trip stretches interminably. Like a modern Odysseus, he is compelled to reevaluate his life’s priorities and responsibilities.
