Paul's life is turned upside down when his wife Sarah suddenly disappears. A year-long search yields no results, and Paul eats the palm of his hand; Doubt is gnawing at him, and he constantly blames himself for Sarah's departure. Finally, he decides to move to the city of Saint-Malo, where he was born and raised, to start a new life with his children. But here, too, new surprises await him...
