Greenberg (2010)

Haunted by past failures, Roger Greenberg, a New York carpenter and former musician, reluctantly returns to Los Angeles to house-sit for his more successful brother. Immobilized without a car, his isolation is broken only by Florence, his brother's adrift and equally disaffected assistant. An unlikely connection sparks between them, forging an unexpected bond. In Florence, Greenberg finds a flicker of hope, a chance at redemption from the self-imposed exile that has defined his life, giving him a reason to embrace the present.
