Going Blind (2020)
Körleşme
Sinan, a poet who has navigated the world sightlessly since the age of three, exists in tranquil acceptance of his blindness. His wife, Nilgün, yearning to bestow upon him the gift of sight, persuades him to undergo surgery.
The operation, initially deemed a success, soon yields unsettling complications as Sinan grapples with adaptation. Nilgün, convinced that his former blind habits are the source of the ensuing chaos, intensifies her demands for him to embrace the sighted world. This mounting tension culminates in a tragic confrontation, forcing them to question the very essence of their beings. It is during this turmoil that a stark ultimatum emerges: without a second surgery, Sinan will irrevocably return to blindness.
