Gibby (2016)

Katie, a young teenager, struggles to emerge from a deep depression after the loss of her mother. Disengaged from school, friends, and her passion for gymnastics, her life takes an unexpected turn during the summer. She is tasked with caring for Gibby, a spirited Capuchin monkey belonging to her science teacher. Gibby's infectious joy reignites Katie's enthusiasm for life.
