Isidoro, a man adrift at forty, embarks on an unlikely odyssey at his brother's behest. His mission: to transport a coffin from the sun-drenched landscapes of Italy to a remote, snow-dusted village nestled deep within the Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains. The deceased, a Ukrainian construction worker felled by illness on Italian soil, now journeys home. This poignant road trip forces Isidoro to confront not only the stark beauty and unforgiving terrain of Eastern Europe, but also the quiet desperation simmering within his own life, prompting unforeseen self-discovery along the way.
