Eddie, a skilled scammer, finds himself in a tricky situation when he is wrongly accused and brought in front of a judge. Desperate to avoid punishment, he decides to feign insanity, hoping for a quick escape. However, his plan backfires when he is sent to a mental institution for evaluation.
As fate would have it, a severe storm hits the area that night, causing a blackout and plunging the hospital into disarray. In the confusion, Eddie is mistaken for a doctor and before he knows it, he is thrust into a position of authority within the hospital. Now, he must navigate the challenges of running a hospital while maintaining his facade and avoiding detection.
