Captain Karen Walden, a rescue helicopter pilot, died shortly after his helicopter crashed in Sandstorm and the helicopter crew was rescued. It is noteworthy that he first rescued the crew of a crashed helicopter, and then, after the helicopter crashed, gathered his team to fight against the Iraqis. After dealing with bad memories of Sandstorm, Colonel Serling is tasked with investigating the situation and presenting Walden's family with the Medal of Honor. However, conflicting statements from his crew and soldiers in the area lead Walden to question whether he truly deserves the medal.
