Control (2004)
A condemned man, Lee Ray Oliver faces the stark reality of death row. Yet, a sliver of hope emerges in the form of an experimental program. Offered a Faustian bargain, Oliver can evade execution by submitting to a radical chemical treatment. This untested procedure promises to rewrite his very nature, altering the impulses that led him to his grim fate. But at what cost does redemption come, and can true change be chemically induced, or does it demand something more profound? The boundaries of free will and moral responsibility are thus challenged.
