The middle of winter. Five youngsters set out for the Jotunheimen mountain region to go snowboarding. One in five teenagers snowboarding on a ramp falls badly and breaks his leg. There is no sign of anyone living in their area and it is out of range of cell phones. Five young people find a mountain hotel a short distance from their location. They decide that they can find a place to sleep in this mountain hotel. The hotel seems quiet and empty. It is obvious that it was closed years ago. The hotel's phone lines are closed. Young people realize that they have to spend the night here. But they are not alone in the hotel. A short time later, they discover a dingy dungeon-like room on the ground floor, in which someone lives. A cat-and-mouse game soon begins between Norway's notorious and determined serial killer and the teens, followed by a battle between life and death. As the number of young people dwindles, the friendship and courage between them will be tested.
