In pre-war Paris, 1913, Coco Chanel finds herself torn between her consuming passion for Boy Capel and the demanding allure of her burgeoning fashion empire. Simultaneously, Igor Stravinsky prepares to unleash *The Rite of Spring*, a composition as revolutionary in its dissonances as Chanel's designs are in their radical simplicity. She envisions liberating women through clothing, he seeks to shatter musical conventions.
