Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky (2009)
In pre-war Paris, 1913, Coco Chanel finds herself torn between her consuming passion for Boy Capel and the demanding allure of her burgeoning fashion empire. Simultaneously, Igor Stravinsky prepares to unleash *The Rite of Spring*, a composition as revolutionary in its dissonances as Chanel's designs are in their radical simplicity. She envisions liberating women through clothing, he seeks to shatter musical conventions. At the infamous premiere, Coco, a beacon of chic in white, witnesses the audience's visceral rejection of Stravinsky's avant-garde ballet. While she is profoundly stirred, the composer is left devastated by the hostile reception. Their paths are destined to collide.
