Class (1983)

Jonathan, a naive Midwesterner, finds an unlikely mentor in his worldly roommate, Skip. Under Skip's tutelage, the sheltered student ventures into Chicago's cocktail scene, seeking experience with older women. He finds it in Ellen, an alluring woman with whom he has a brief affair, unaware of her identity.

The revelation that Ellen is Skip's mother ignites a chasm between the two friends, a division deepened by a subsequent cheating scandal that rocks their school. Their bond, once promising, is now threatened by betrayal and deceit, leaving their futures hanging precariously in the balance.
