Faced with the imminent closure of their beloved local pub, four friends embark on a desperate, audacious scheme: writing a sensational "mummy porn" novel reminiscent of *Fifty Shades of Grey*. To their astonishment, it becomes a publishing phenomenon.
Their triumph is short-lived, however, as the publisher demands the fictitious female author make public appearances. They hire a struggling actress to maintain the charade, but she swiftly rises to fame, eclipsing them and landing the film adaptation's leading role.
