CBGB (2013)
CBGB 2013
CBGC is a 1970s New York City nightclub considered the birthplace of punk music. This club, which closed in 2006, was not originally opened as a punk music venue. This is evident from the name: CBGB or Country Bluegrass Blues. But when Ramones, one of the leading bands of punk music, made their debut in this hall, the history of music changed and Hilly Crystal, owner of CBGB, became a legend. Who doesn't get the CBGB stage? Blondie, Misfits, Patti Smith, Television, Talking Heads, Mink deVille, The Dead Boys… the list goes on. At the same time, a new era begins with punk-flame bands such as the Sex Pistols and The Clash. CBGC, on the other hand, lost its old reputation over the years and unfortunately Hilly Crystal knocked on the door of the club in 2006. Patti Smith is the last person to arrive at the club.
